About us

who?

Project Grow is an urban community farming social enterprise growing vital food in collaboration with community food projects across Gloucestershire.

what?

We advocate for communities to grow food together because the people who rely on the emergency system such as food pantries and community food projects rarely get a choice to good food - food that has low food miles, that is chemical free, seasonally grown and in alignment with mother nature.

Advocating for communities to grow their own food empowers people to take control of their nutrition and well-being. By focusing on low food miles and chemical-free produce, we are not just providing healthier options, we are also promoting sustainability and a connection to nature

where?

We grow over six sites across Cheltenham and Gloucester including:

The Community Rest Garden (Tewkesbury Road Cheltenham),

The FCH Edible Garden (University of Gloucestershire, Cheltenham),

The Gloucestershire Heritage Hub (Alvin Street, Gloucester),

The Bishop of Gloucester’s private garden (Gloucester).

Escort Road Allotments (Gloucester)

Project Grow HQ (Cheltenham).

If you would like to get involved at any of our sites please email us at hello@weareprojectgrow.com

how?

To fund our urban community farming sites we sell a range of seasonal vegetable and herb plug plants, vegetable boxes and products including Social Source. All of our plug plants are grown chemical free and ready to plant so that you too can grow your own food.

Our store can be found here.
